Overdue charges

€ 0.50 / loan / day (VAT 0%)

Maximum overdue charge € 15 / loan (VAT 0%)

The overdue fines can be paid on HH Finna . Please note that the minimum sum that can be paid on HH Finna is € 0.50. Fines can't be paid in national Finna. Please make sure that you are in Haaga-Helia's own HH Finna.

Fines can also be paid at the Pasila library. At Pasila library we accept bank and credit cards.

  • At Haaga, Malmi, Porvoo Campus and Vierumäki you can't pay fees in the library.

Persons lose their borrowing privileges once their overdue charges reach a minimum of € 15. Borrowing privileges are returned, however, once the overdue loan is returned and the overdue charges paid.

Lowell will send an invoice for overdue materials and overdue charges, which can be subject to legal collection procedures.

Lost/damaged material

Any lost or damaged material is to be compensated for by supplying the library with similar material or by paying the cost of replacing the material as set by the library.

New library card

The charge for the renewal of a lost or damaged library card is € 3 (VAT 0%).

Inter-library loans

Customers are charged the price set by the lending library.

Inter-library loans to other libraries

€ 9 / loan (VAT 0%)
Photocopies: 1-30 pages € 7; additional pages € 0.20 / page (VAT 0%)

Inter-library loans are invoiced once a year and subject to a separate invoicing fee of € 15.

Charges vary by library unit. More information will be provided by the library in question.

Information retrieval

For haagahelians and Haaga-Helia's alumni free of charge. Others are subject to the following charges

  • information retrieval 50 € / hour (incl. VAT 24%)
  • personal information retrieval guidance 50 € / hours after the first free 1/2 hours (incl. VAT 24%)
  • information retrieval training for groups 90 € / hour (incl. VAT 24%)
