New student's guide to library and information services: Welcome to the library!

Haaga-Helia Library and Information Services

There's a library on all Haaga-Helia campuses. Check our opening hours and contact information here.

Library card

First, get a library card. You will need it to borrow material.

The card will be ready for pick-up in two working days. Bring a photo ID with you when you come to the library to collect the card.

Use your library card to manage your loans online:

  • reserve books, free of charge
  • renew loans

Use all campus libraries and their collections with the same library card.

We recommend you to start using self-service reservations. This way, you can collect reservations during the self-service hours.

No need to buy coursebooks, get them from the library

HH Finna is Haaga-Helia's online library. It contains both printed and e-materials.

Library provides coursebooks as

  • copies to borrow
  • reference copies you can use at the library
  • also as e-books, whenever available

E-books and e-journals

Library has an extensive collection of electronic materials. You can use them both on and off campus.
