Read full-text documents in RefWorks

Once you have saved full-text documents to your RefWorks account, you can read them within RefWorks. You don't need to keep on searching them in databases.

Use the built-in reader in RefWorks to read full-text documents, such as pdf files.

1. Click the reference in your folder.

2. If there is a full-text attached, you will see a blue READ button. Click it.

 

The tools of the built-in reader are located on the top of the page:

Tools from left to right:

Zoom out
Zoom in
Print this document
Download this document
Highlight the selected text. Click on the highlited text to change color, delete the highlight, or to add a comment.
Comment the selected text
Document Notes
Edit Reference

1. Click the reference in your folder.

2. A window opens to the right side of the page. Click SFX link to access the full text document.

 

If you are using a computer on campus, you can also access the full-text document by clicking the URL link (search.ebscohost.com in the example below).
