Library services: Library card

Get a library card

You need a library card to borrow print items from the library. The same card is used in all 3AMK libraries (Haaga-Helia, Laurea, and Metropolia).

The library card is personal, and the customer is responsible for all items checked out on his or her card. Notify the library immediately if you lose your library card. You should also notify the library when your contact information changes. The library does not have access to updated address information in other systems such as that of the Academic Affairs Office.

Tuudo's library card

Haaga-Helia's students

can use Tuudo mobile app as a library card. Create a library card at once, without a visit to the library. Tuudo is available for Android and iOS devices, and can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Log in to Tuudo with Haaga-Helia user name and password.

You will find the Tuudo library card and other library services on Tuudo's side menu.

With Tuudo you can

  • borrow books from all 3AMK libraries
  • renew loans
  • see your reservations and fees
  • check the libraries' opening hours and locate libraries on a map.

Haaga-Helia's staff members can also use Tuudo's library card after acquiring a traditional plastic card. Apply for a library card online. Bring a photo ID with you when collecting your library card. Haagahelians can then activate the card in Tuudo.
